Laura Safranski has been a Nationally Certified American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter for over 9 years and working in the field for over 12 years. When a Deaf patron was overwhelmed connecting to a song about his/her life Laura's passion and fire for Interpreting Performing Arts was lit. Instrumental in her career was the intensive training received at The Juilliard School in New York City where the focus was on interpreting Broadway shows into ASL and Bringing the Stage to Life, a program in Nashville focusing on

interpreting music.

Over the years, she has been an advisor and interpreted for National productions, children's plays and everything in between. She has also been fortunate to interpret an extreme variety of music for nationally recognized comediennes and Emmy Award winning musical artists such as AC/DC, Janet Jackson, Pharrell Williams, P. Diddy, Snoop Dogg, Mumford and Sons, Katt Williams, Arcade Fire, John Fogerty, The Black Keys, Little Jimmy Dickens, Metallica, Megadeth, Faith No More, Pulp, At The Drive-In, Bruno Mars, The Replacements, Walk The Moon, Jake Owen, Toby Keith, Brantley Gilbert, Darius Rucker, Thompson Square, Florence + The Machine, Kanye West, Cake, The Weeknd and many more artists including many Polynesian shows.

To keep up with the ever changing field and techniques for interpreting Laura has a thirst for continuing education through worldwide workshops, conferences and and working with Deaf Mentors. She can be seen yearly working festivals all over the country including the Coachella Music and Arts Festival, Stagecoach and Bumbershoot.
